For months Bryce BEGGED and PLEADED to get bunk beds. So for his birthday we got them for him.
What a dumb idea.
They were delivered on his birthday and before we could say anything, Austin went into his room, grabbed his blanket, pillows, Elephant and George and claimed the bottom bed at his.
No one has had a decent bedtime since, but they do really love their new beds and sharing a room. We'll see how long that lasts...

Oh that's funny. When we bought our bunk beds Anna and Scott were already sharing a room so that wasn't an issue. Good luck!
My boys just started sharing a room in prep for baby sister to come in the spring, so I feel a little of your pain here. Good luck with it!!

Ahh, we have been looking at bunk beds, but our biggest fear is that Jensen will try to claim the top bunk! :) And we know bedtime will be a bit of a joke when our boys get stuck together, but in the long run, hopefully it will be the best. Maybe they'll get all the kinks worked out before the baby comes!
