Happy Valentine's Day!!!
Below is a picture of what Derek bought me for Valentine's Day when we were dating. I was so surprised and they were so pretty!
Here is what he bought me this year:(not that I'm complaining! I'll get more mileage out of these than those flowers, and I can't wait to go running and I still think these are pretty!)
Here's Valentine's Day 2003 - Derek won contest at work to go on a trip to Chicago over Valentine's Day. They flew the spouses out too and we stayed at The Penninsula on Michigan Avenue, got couples massages, spent a fun afternoon eating Chicago Deep Dish pizza then we roamed The Chicago Institute of Art, and Shedd Aquarium. Valentine's night we had dinner on the 95th Floor of the Hancock Building and our last morning there we had Breakfast at Tiffany's. (This one will be hard to ever top.)
This year we took Bryce to basketball practice then had Take-n-Bake Pizza from Papa Murphey's for dinner. Not quite deep dish and far from Tiffany's, but...
...I'm not complaining. What girl wouldn't want to spend Valentines Day with the 4 guys she loves the most and who love her best!!!

Heart-shaped pizza!!?? You will likely never top the breakfast at Tiffany's weekend but try. I need new running shoes but David got me flowers--much less expensive!
That was a trip down memory lane. I remember that apartment, that Valentines day...and then I got to your trip to Chicago. I remember that oh so well--and think of it often. I don't know if you remember my emotional breakdown that I had over YOUR trip!! I'm glad you had a nice Valentines day with all your boys (:
On Valentine's day I was thinking about how time changes everything. Valentine's day has definately morphed into a family holiday here over the years. Still fun though!
